Chris Chan is the Manager of Travel Training with Public Affairs at TransLink. In his role, Chris implemented TransLink’s Travel Training Program, delivering training and support to over 5000 participants annually. This program was awarded the Equity Diversity and Inclusion Award by the Canadian Uran Transit Association in 2023, and Chris was a nominee for the British Columbia Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Award and named CTANW Leader in Anti-Racism, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in 2024.
Prior to this exciting role, he was the Transportation Demand Management Officer for Seniors and Newcomers with TravelSmart, sharing information about multi-modal transportation with seniors and newcomers. Chris has been a strong advocate for sharing information about public transit with customers with diverse abilities, seniors and newcomers.
