Chris continued to push the boundary to advocate for access of information and services for newcomers and the diverse cultural communities. In short of government mandated policies, Chris led TransLink's cross enterprise efforts to develop the Language Access Policy Implementation Guide, following TransLink's adoption of its Language Access Policy in 2023.

Chris has also been recognized as the in-house language expert, where he provides insight and advice on strategies to increase language access for TransLink's major projects across the region.

Chris also played in critical role in inspiring the introduction of TransLink's fully translated New Riders Page, a one stop shop for new riders on transit in Metro Vancouver to get resources they need to utilize the accessible transit system in the region. The website is available in English, Punjabi, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

Chris also led TransLink's initiative to be actively involved in local community events that were significant to the diverse cultural communities, from a successful year-round partnership with S.U.C.C.E.S.S., and the Vancouver Chinatown BIA, to becoming a community sponsor and having senior leadership representation at public events like the Flag Raising Ceremony at the Vancouver Filipino Plaza, and a specially wrapped bus at the Spring Festival Festival at Vancouver Chinatown and the Vancouver and Surrey Vaisakhi Parade.

Through the Travel Training for Newcomers program, Chris also introduced 4 additional versions of TransLink's translated Accessible Transit Guide in Metro Vancouver, including Farsi, Korean, Spanish and Simplified Chinese.

The Travel Training Program has been such a success in the immigrant community, the Travel Training for Life Skills program was featured in on CityTV and OMNI, while the newcomers program was featured by Fairchild TV.
