Kristin Melcher, CPA

Kristin is a Community Transportation Planner for the South Central Region at WSDOT. Prior to entering the transportation industry, she worked in public and private accounting. She is a licensed CPA and worked as a financial auditor before opening her own accounting firm. Deciding that she was much too extroverted to spend the rest of her working life on tax seasons she transitioned to a private non-profit transportation provider and fell in love with transportation. Now she is able to combine her love of helping people and compliance with the best division at WSDOT; the Public Transportation Division.
