For over 29 years, Tom Pulling has been the leader of the Dial-A-Lift Dispatch Department at Intercity Transit. His ability to manage a crisis of any sort and his unflappable nature have made him a beacon of leadership within the Dial-A-Lift Department. Tom's reputation amongst our drivers is incomparable. Tom's presence gives our drivers the confidence that someone is watching their back and will get them through their shift no matter what happens. Over the years, Tom has guided our department through service reductions, service expansions, software changes, a pandemic, natural disasters, severe weather events, and political uprisings. Through all of these events, Tom has been a steady force within Dial-A-Lift and made it his mission to deliver life changing service to the disabled population of Thurston County. Tom has overseen training for all of our dispatchers and provides a mentorship that lasts through all of our careers. To put it simply, Tom Pulling is Dial-A-Lift and Dial-A-Lift is Tom Pulling.
